What is CROWD? / ¿Qué es CROWD?
CROWD is the Junior High component of the Life Teen program, an international Catholic movement that serves the Church by providing resources and faith experiences that help lead teens closer to Christ. This is accomplished through widespread opportunities for teens to grow in their faith and experience belonging! CROWD meets Fridays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
CROWD es el componente de Junior High del programa Life Teen, un movimiento católico internacional que sirve a la Iglesia al proporcionar recursos y experiencias de fe que ayudan a los adolescentes a acercarse más a Cristo. What do CROWD Nights look like at St. Louise? / ¿Qué aspecto tiene CROWD en Sta. Luisa?
- Our CROWD middle school program involves a variety of elements designed to help teens build relationships with other teens and leaders, grow socially and most importantly mature in their faith. CROWD Nights are run in a large group format, but we also utilize small group discussions in order to give the teens the opportunity to share and develop faith-based relationships. Also incorporated into our nights are plenty of opportunities for fun! We start the night with an icebreaker game or activity. Additionally, we utilize skits and multimedia presentations as often as possible to support our teaching.
- Nuestro programa de escuela media CROWD involucra una variedad de elementos diseñados para ayudar a los adolescentes a establecer relaciones con otros adolescentes y líderes, crecer socialmente y, lo que es más importante, madurar en su fe. Who leads CROWD? / ¿Quién lidera a CROWD?
- The CROWD Core Team is made up of youth ministry staff and both adult and teen volunteers, all of whom have had the required background check and safe environment training mandated by the Archdiocese. Our teen leaders are older teens who serve our ministry by participating in the planning, preparation and implementation of the CROWD events. They are a key component to this program as the younger teens are drawn to their example of faith and see them as mentors. Contact Danny if you are interested in joining our Core Team.
- El Equipo Central de CROWD está formado por personal del ministerio juvenil y voluntarios adultos y adolescentes, todos los cuales han recibido la verificación de antecedentes requerida y la certificación ambiental segura ordenada por la Arquidiócesis.
